I’m looking for mutual aid due to having to go without pay for maternity leave. I am the only head of household as well as the sole caregiver for my disabled dad. He gets a monthly check and half of that is gone for his own medication and bills. With me being down, I am really worried about all of the bills being paid. I’ll have car notes, rent, and utilities that have to be paid. $1000 would help put me at ease to be able to spend time with my newborn.

As a mother, my greatest wish is to give my children stability, comfort, and hope for a brighter future. I am currently experiencing a devastating family crisis that has turned my life upside down. I’m a domestic violence survivor, and after taking my children with me, we’ve been moving from couch to couch unable to afford certain things. I’m trying to raise enough to set us on good path. Everything feels overwhelming as I try to hold things together while facing uncertainty, emotional pain, and financial hardship. Each day brings new challenges that are difficult to manage, but I am doing my best to remain strong for my family. This situation has left us feeling vulnerable and in urgent need of stability, support, and compassion to help us move forward and rebuild.

Last year 2025 my business closed leaving me in debt with no source of income. That same month my car broke down and was broken into so I haven’t been able to commute for work. I am facing eviction court this week and I have nowhere for my son and I to go. I’m pleading for help, I have a few days left to make the payment.
