Over the last year, it has been tough. I am constantly facing eviction and it’s weighing on me. I am working towards full-time work now since I got a car but it’s still a challenge. I’m dealing with overdue bills, and now that I’m finally starting to get on track I just need a little help so I don’t fall back into constantly being facing eviction again. Please help me get back on track.

I’m Brooke Taylor—a proud mom of four incredible boys, a disability advocate, and a survivor of a life-changing medical crisis that completely changed the course of my life. What was supposed to be a new beginning after surgery became a fight for my life, leaving me with a traumatic brain injury and other long-term health complications. I lost my career, my home, and nearly everything my family owned, but I never lost my determination to keep fighting.

Today, I’m rebuilding our lives one day at a time while waiting on disability, raising my boys, and advocating for better patient care, disability awareness, and the importance of community. I believe that even in life’s darkest moments, hope can be found through kindness, resilience, and refusing to give up.

More than anything, I’m simply a mom who wants to give her children a safe, loving home and show them that no matter how hard life gets, we keep getting back up. If sharing my story helps another family feel less alone or inspires someone to lend a helping hand, then every difficult chapter has had a purpose. My mission is to turn pain into purpose and rebuild a life my boys can be proud of.
