Urgent! Hi, I’m currently dealing with PTSD, major depressive disorder, severe body spasms, and issues with my lower extremities. I’m in a short-term financial gap while I complete the process for an emergency grant through for more long term help. I’m seeking mutual aid for next month’s rent, and possibly the month after depending on timing, so I can stay housed and stable while my funding is finalized. Any support means a lot. My Safety Is At Risk: My buildings management company consistently harassed me since 2021 when I started organizing against the unsafe and unlivable housing conditions.
📍My apartment was broken into and my bedroom door was removed
📍My personal mail has been opened and tampered with daily
📍Most recently, my inflation check was opened and a letter that contained my social security number.
📍My car was tampered with this past weekend

I never imagined that after earning a doctorate in public health in August 2025 —studying how housing impacts health—I’d still be living the very crisis I researched for years.

I’m trying to please find help for moving fees and supplies to be able to survive.

📍I haven’t found a job as of yet as Trump’s administration has been defunding Public Health. I’m currently struggling. ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED.
