A protest is planned after the Cop who shot 16 rounds into Breonna Taylor’s home is hired again.

Myles Cosgrove, the former Louisville Metro officer who fatally shot Breonna Taylor has a new job as a deputy for the for the Carroll County Sheriff.

Cosgrove was fired in January 2021 for excessive use of force and failing to use a body-camera.

Cosgrove was one of 3 officers who opened fire into the house, and he hasn’t faced any criminal charges for the shooting. Though his State Peace Officer Certification was revoked by the Kentucky Law Enforcement Council was revoked in November, it meant he could still be hired for other law enforcement jobs in the state.

The people of Carroll County have already planned a protest for Monday.
