Getting through a very hard point in life
As a devoted mom of five, I’ve been working full-time and attending school full-time to build a better future for my family. Recently, life took an unexpected turn as I’m going through a divorce and was hit with several major household repairs that I simply can’t afford right now. Life is already tearing my apart, and I can’t go into a hole while taking care of my children. Every dollar goes toward keeping a safe, stable home for my kids while I continue to work hard to provide for my children. Your kindness and support will help us stay afloat during this difficult season and remind my children that community truly cares.
Grieving and homeless
Hi, my name is Valencia I’m 52 years old, and right now, I’m living in a shipping container.
This year has been the hardest of my life. I lost my mom in February, and since then, everything has fallen apart. I’ve been trying to stay strong, but it’s been a daily struggle just to get by.
I’m not someone who likes to ask for help, but I’m tired of living like this. I just want a safe place to call home — somewhere warm, where I can start over and heal.
I’ve been saving up on my own. Anything you can give, to help with the deposit on a apartment even a few dollars or a share, would mean more to me than I can say. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to read this.
Mom in need
Hello I’m a mother of 7. We usually do well on our own, but I lost my job in the middle of the year and we’ve been struggling since. I received possession eviction a few days ago, and I have until January 2nd to move my property out. I haven’t been able to find a job, I just need some help. Life is currently a mess and I don’t know where to turn, but I’ll be using the money to help with a few emergencies like finding a new place and expenses like groceries to feed my family while I try to get a job and try to find the next steps to restore our life.

They are inherently evil and will never change!!😡
SMH. As the garage door is closing. I would have felt in fear for my life.
This is disgusting and reminds us that racism is alive and well. Civil rights happened just 65 years ago. I hope that we wins his lawsuit. They have to start being held accountable for their malice intentional actions.
Jealousy and fear
I’m horrified and angry that some firefighter could tie such a fetish and hand it to another firefighter, because he was Black. Thank you Miriiya, I need to be in the know that this violence is alive and well.
