Grandmother of 3, the newest edition just made her entrance two days after my birthday on June 9, 2022. I have been a healthcare worker for more than 20 years, in school right now to get my bachelor's in health communication. I started my business in January 2022 but launched in March. I do handmade candles and soaps and I am looking into learning and doing more. I am a spiritual woman who studies and practice Ancient African spirituality. I love helping people and that is my vision to do through my business, helping those in need. I also take care of my mother who has dementia and she lives with me and she is another reason I started my business. I wish us all success on our paths! Ase

Single mother just gave birth to newborn may lose home

Hi my name is Anizjah
I just gave birth June 11th,2025 to a baby girl. I am a mother of 3. Ages 10, 8 & a newborn. I currently am on unpaid maternity leave due to giving birth a bit sooner than expected because of complications of high blood pressure. I didn’t qualify for fmla or paid leave because I haven’t reached a year yet I also just started my new job in May before I gave birth but I’m trying to be stable on my own due to being in a domestic violence situation with my daughter’s father who is unsupportive. I decided to move on with my life and raise my daughter on my own. I don’t have much family support but I would truly appreciate the support. I am currently behind this month due to waiting on assistance (which is hard to get & lengthy) but I haven’t received any information on if it was approved or not. It’s been tough lately I was able to use my final check before giving birth to pay a portion of my rent. But now we’re going into August so it is behind with late fees. I just need a little push to get on top of everything
I appreciate any blessing I can get I understand everyone has their struggles so whatever help I can get is a start. . Thank you !

Black Man need help with housing

After relocating to the metro area in January due to a hardship in the trucking industry, I found myself displaced, sleeping in my car for the past 7 months, and out of resources.The brakes and rotors on my car are completely gone. No insurance coverage and the car note is at default for repossession. Sleeping in the car has definitely taken its toll on my body as well. $1000 is what I foresee to offset the current burden of car, communication instruments, and displacement. Thank you dearly.

A black woman needs help paying rent

I am reaching out as a 27-year-old who needs an emergency help and is facing a very tough time with losing my full time job, causing me on being way behind on rent, my account always being in the negatives almost all the time which is I’m very scared of eviction.
