A Mother Needing Help

Hello and blessings to everyone reading this,

I am a 33 year old woman with 2 children who are five and one. I away from my family and closest friends at the moment. My support is God and the powerful prayers of a God fearing mother. My oldest has a diagnosis of Down Syndrome, she is fortunately blessed with great health and she attends various therapies to help strengthen her skills. I’ve always been dependent on myself when it came to tough situations. After having my daughter I realized real strength is in community.

Recently their father and I got into a domestic dispute that led to me having to be hospitalized and eventually losing my job. Prior to this incident he only assisted with paying half of our son’s daycare and since then has opted out of doing that. The bills are already behind, my car (blessed to have it) is needing some TLC and I’m honestly barely holding it all together. I’ve been doing this thing called life for a while on my own and with children added into the mix has been physically, emotionally and spiritually exhausting. I truly just need some help. A leg up, something and I know from there myself and my children will be more than alright. I’ve survived this long, we deserve to thrive.
