In case you didn’t know…I have Nigerian roots in my family. My great-great grandfather was Nigerian. But that’s all I know. But this is a cultural piece… honoring that. Plus I got really excited to draw the character this way. I’m glad I got the cornrows right. Yes! This is truly my best piece of 2020. And I can only improve from here.
