My name is Kay, and I’m a single mother doing my best to start over after losing my 14 year-old son just 14 days after giving birth. That loss changed everything. Not long after, I lost my salon, my home, and faced domestic violence that left me starting from scratch.
For almost a year, I’ve been working a 9–5 job to keep a roof over our heads, but my car recently been having problems, and I’m struggling to stay above water.
I’m humbly asking for help to keep a roof over my head, secure reliable transportation, and finally create a safe, stable home for me and my son.
Every dollar helps me take one step closer to stability, safety, and peace something I haven’t felt in a long time.
I don’t take asking for help lightly. I’ve always been strong, independent, and the one others could count on. But today, I’m choosing faith over pride because I know that even after the darkest storms, light still finds a way through.
