Burdock Root - Arctium lappa - Known as "The Blood Purifier". It is known to strengthen the lymphatic system and reduce inflammation. It contains Antioxidants quercetin, luteolin, and phenolic acids. Burdock Root is a natural diuretic that causes increased urination.
Origin: China
Directions: Pour 8 oz - 12 oz of boiling water over 1-2 teaspoons. Steep for 5-10 minutes, strain, and drink.
Alternative: Simmer 1-2 teaspoons in water for 2-5 minutes, strain, and drink.

May increase bleeding during and after surgery; stop taking at least two weeks before surgery.
May interact with Anticoagulant / Antiplatelet drugs.
