Please help a young Black college grad struggling with eviction

Hello everyone, my name is Brianna. I moved to LA in September of 2024 so I could finish my degree and graduate. It was a long and stressful journey, but I finally earned my degree from UCLA this past June. However, now that my classes are over, I’m not receiving any more financial aid. That was what kept me afloat all this time. I’ve been looking for work since I got here, but the job market in LA is atrocious and even with hundreds of submitted applications and dozens of interviews, I haven’t found anything. I also started the process to get my substitute teaching credential months ago and that process has finally completed so I’m now able to find work that way, but it takes time that I do not have. Due to many delayed opportunities and months without work, I was evicted the day before Thanksgiving. Since then, I’ve been couch surfing and my plan is to move with a friend, however I need to get money for 1st month’s rent and the deposit. It took everything I had to move back here and finally earn this degree, hoping and praying it would help me find a better life. I don’t have family or many loved ones who can support me because we’re all on hard times. Please, anything helps, thank you.
