During her undergraduate years at the University of Georgia, Jonelle Dawkins started Joforia Jewels as a way to earn money for her study abroad trip to Ghana. While studying fashion merchandising and growing Joforia, Jonelle realized that she was creating an opportunity for herself in the fashion industry. She recently completed her MBA at North Carolina A&T State University. When she isn’t making beautiful jewelry, she is the Executive Director at Scraplanta Creative Reuse.
