If you are experiencing inflammation from rheumatoid arthritis or other joint-related ailments, the inflammation oil may be a good choice for you. The oil includes grapeseed oil, wintergreen oil, chamomile oil, lemongrass oil, and sweet orange oil.
Grapeseed oil’s main ingredient, linolenic acid, is an organic compound that fights inflammation in the skin’s middle and outer layers. The oil can also increase circulation which could also decrease inflammation and the pain that may follow. Additionally, the fatty acids in grapeseed oil assist with wound healing and decreasing scarring. If you would like to use the oil for wounds, please consult with a physician before use.
Wintergreen oil’s main ingredient is methyl salicylate which is an organic compound. The oil is closely related to aspirin and has analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties. Therefore, wintergreen oil decreases pain, decreases inflammation (which can cause pain), and has anti-bacterial properties as well.
Chamomile is more than just tea; the oil is known to possess anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects which is beneficial for osteoarthritis and carpal tunnel syndrome if applied three times a day. The aroma is also known to promote sleep due to its calming effects.
Lemongrass oil assists with pain relief due to its anti-inflammatory properties from citral.
Citral is a main component of citrus fruit’s peel oil, especially oranges. Lemongrass also contains anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties.
Sweet orange oil is known to promote the production of collagen as well as increase the blood flow to the skin. The oil has anti-microbial and anti-oxidant effects along with the aroma reducing symptoms of depression and anxiety.
For best results, apply 5-10 drops to affected area after a warm shower/bath, two times a day.
