For the safest burn, your candle should always be trimmed to ¼ – ½ inch*. WHY: Wicks that are left untrimmed may burn too hot, impact fragrance strength, cause debris, and decrease the burn time of your candle.
WHEN: Anytime you purchase a candle and every burn following the initial. HOW: Insert wick trimmer inside candle jar and cut leveled with the wax.

* Wooden wicks should be trimmed to approximately ⅛ inch.
