Tiki esi mala a bedimo, which means precious things never get lost. It is this Duala proverb that inspired us the use of leftovers from our previous collection KOMPALI and others scaps. As we were doing the new year cleaning of our workshop, we had that important amount of scraps remaining. Not knowing what to do with all those leftovers, and while already working on Jebale collection, we came accross this Duala proverb, encouraging us to recycle, as much as possible. We saw value in these leftovers, and decided to give it another try instead of garbage. Tiki means something valuable/precious.
