The song was written in memory of Simone’s late friend, Lorraine Hansberry. Hansberry was the author of A Raisin in the Sun. Hansberry passed away at the age of 34.

This rug is so amazing! I knew it would be high quality, but I didn’t know it would THIS good. Would absolutely recommend it. The pink is a perfect, nice bubblegum shade. The text is a perfect and deep chocolate brown.
