Ze ebere ekoum bubu dress is part of our collection ESSINGAN, inspired by the mythic Cameroonian group Les Têtes Brûlées du Cameroun. In Beti/Fang/Bulu culture, we have what is called dzo mebaran or metaman. Dzo mebaran are like nicknames, but more powerful. Metaman are the name you give to your new born child, as what you hope he/she will be. Ndjoebot can be a metaman, as well as mam nnene. Ze ebere ekoum also, but here it is more to depict/mock the attitude of the person. Ze ebere ekoum literally means panther on a tree trunk. The bubu dress has pleats that run from shoulders right under the burst. A scarf is provided after request (extra charges may apply).
